Quails' Gate's flagship wine, pinot noir, is made in a style that reveals all the grape's potential for elegance, richness, and complexity. Quails' Gate winemaker Nikki Callaway leads this vertical tasting of the winery's top 2 tiers of pinots. Guests will taste the 2012 through 2015 vintages of both the SFR and Richard's Block Pinot Noirs. (The latter is one of Quails' Gate's special 25th Anniversary Series wines, made in limited quantities and available only at the estate.) This is a great opportunity not only to compare the 2 tiers, which demonstrate the winery's overall direction, but also the experience firsthand the difference between the just-bottled 2015s and their older counterparts.
